- Ben Hutchinson former seniors player and Juniors captain is leaving to take join the army. He leaves to enter Duntroon Academy
on the 7th of July and we wish him all the best in his new vocation.
- Steve Baker flies out with the Australian Gridiron team on Saturday the 11th of July for games against England and Sweden.
We know he will represent himself and his club with pride. Good luck Steve.
- Nick Vlad last years Senior rookie of the year and Junior MVP has been signed on a scholarship with NCAA division 1 team
Boise State University. He takes up his schoarship next January and will be red-shirted his freshman year. He has been signed as a defensive end, kicker and punter. We take great pride in Nick achievement and wish him all the best, and remind him once a Miner always a Miner, so we expect Nick to visit us from time to time when he returns home for holidays etc.
